Update: Three arrested over theft and assault at Parafield Gardens

Two teenage boys and a woman have been arrested after they allegedly stole cigarettes from a Parafield shop and assaulted the owner.

Police will allege just after 11.45am on Tuesday 24 November, two men and a woman entered a shop on Martins Road and stole cigarettes. The shop owner chased the group as they left and was subsequently punched several times, sustaining minor injuries to his face and hands.

The group were last seen heading east on Shepherdson Road in a silver Holden Astra.

Northern District police investigations led them to Salisbury North home where they located the vehicle, the three persons involved in the incident and the stolen cigarettes.
