Strong competition boosting Adelaide’s auction clearance rate in booming market

Auctions are proving to be one of the best ways to sell property in Adelaide’s booming market, with new data revealing the city’s clearance rate has jumped 12 per cent in the past three months.

CoreLogic’s latest Quarterly Auction Market Review shows 79.8 per cent of the 894 properties that went to auction across the city during the three months to March 2021 sold.

It was up on the 67.1 per cent clearance rate recorded on 1014 reported auctions in the December 2020 quarter and the 52.3 per cent recorded on 827 reported auctions in the March 2020 quarter.
