Hungry Jack’s drive-thru burnout at Aberfoyle Park allegedly sparked by ‘broken soft-serve machine’

A man who was arrested following a burnout at a Hungry Jack’s drive-through in Adelaide’s south was allegedly angry the soft-serve ice cream machine was out of order.

A witness captured the incident unfolding at the Aberfoyle Park outlet, next to The Hub shopping centre, about 6.30pm on Tuesday.

Smoke was seen billowing from a black Nissan wagon as it did burnouts next to the customer service windows before continuing through the On The Run car park next door, leaving a trail of black rubber.

The alleged dangerous driving continued onto Park Avenue near three schools with hundreds of students coming and going throughout the day.
