A driver was arrested at Klemzig after a car failed to stop for police at Edinburgh overnight.
About 11.45pm on Saturday 17 October, a patrol tried to pull over a Commodore on West Avenue at Edinburgh, but the driver refused to stop.
The police helicopter (PolAir) was called in to assist and monitored the vehicle from the air as it headed south on Main North Road at speed.
Patrols didn’t pursue the car but managed to deploy road spikes in front of it on O.G. Road near Fox Avenue at Klemzig.
While unsuccessfully attempting to avoid the road spikes, the car lost control and crashed into a Stobie pole and a car yard fence, damaging a vehicle inside the yard.

Police Citizen of the Year Announced
Port MacDonnell resident Grant Fensom has been named as the Lions Club of the City of Adelaide and South Australia Police 2020 Citizen of the Year.
Mr Fensom was nominated following his valuable contribution in the arrest of an armed holdup offender. Mr Fensom’s nomination was submitted by Superintendent Phil Hoff, Officer in Charge, Limestone Coast LSA.
On 22 August 2019, an offender entered the Port MacDonnell pharmacy wearing a facemask and armed with a knife. He threatened the pharmacist, threw a printer at his head and escaped with a quantity of drugs and cash. Thankfully the pharmacist was not badly injured and called for assistance.

Alleged freight train stowaway caught in Adelaide in breach of coronavirus restrictions
A man accused of stowing away on a freight train has been arrested in Adelaide, after allegedly crossing into SA from Victoria in breach of travel restrictions.

A rail supervisor found the 41-year-old, and called police, after the train arrived in Adelaide early this morning.
Police said the man boarded the train in the Victorian town of Dimboola, before it departed for Adelaide last night.
They did not say if the man was from the Wimmera town or from elsewhere within Victoria.
