Border rules with Melbourne change

South Australia has relaxed its hard border closure with greater Melbourne, with health officials scrapping quarantine and COVID-19 testing requirements.
Premier Steven Marshall announced on Wednesday morning that as of 12.01am on Friday residents from greater Melbourne would be allowed back into South Australia without having to quarantine or take a mandatory coronavirus test.
He said it would come as a “huge relief” for Victorians and congratulated the state on getting on top of the Holiday Inn outbreak.
